When using longer grippers that rotate, you often see that the end of the gripper wobbles after. That does not have to be a problem, because the Pick and Place position remains accurate. Until now, this movement has been reduced with software programming. That requires a lot of work and time and therefore money. Codian Robotics now offers a mechanical solution. We can confirm that the Inertia Absorber is working properly. We have tested it extensively.
We recommend ordering an Inertia Absorber with your robot if you are using a Rotation axis R200 or R300 and the Inertia of the D4-S020 is larger than 0.01 Kgm ^ 2. With the D4-S040 robot, you can order the robot with an Inertia from 0.1 Kgm ^ 2.
